Monde Mo on the Up

 

Monde Mo is a dude on the up and up. He has been in the game for a while now; since 1995 to be exact, that’s a long time. He started with his friends back then and they formed a group called Scrapyard and in 2005 they signed to then Sony/BMG. They released their debut album titled ‘Mkhendlo. Monde had other ambitions though. In 2007 he went solo and released his first project called ‘Jele Vat Kans’ later on. The album was well received and did well on the YFM play-list. Monde is not sitting on his laurels; he is pushing the album and has managed to build his own studio in his hometown, Pimville Soweto. Monde has gone one step further and produces everything under his own production company – Chicha Productions. Look out for Monde Mo in the future, you can catch him on Saturday evenings presenting a local Top 20 chart show on Eldos FM, starting at 9pm.
